Like subject indicates it is not very rewarding system atm to do competitions if you think you cannot reach top 2 in a single competion.
If you do become for example 3rd (a podium place) and there is 4 ranking points for winner you will get 0 points, if there is 3 points for winner you earn minus points with 3rd place result. This does not make sense if you compare it to athletics competitions irl.
Could this be changed back closer to what it was before the big update when there was sometimes even 10 ranking points for the winner.
In my eyes it would be fair that at least 5 best ones in one competition would earn points.

since most skills just fail for the first few ranks at least from what I see, it would be cool to quest for the first 10 points or something like that.

one thing we had when I played EverQuest was Weight Reduction backpacks. They ranged anywhere from 5-100 weight reduction. would something like this be possible in HR?

I sensed it earlier trying to see how to make it work...what sorta bonus does it give? And its not easy to manage since youd have to hold it to get the bonus.
