Takeoff timing

Post by Tmrhcartwright »

Any tips for getting my takeoff timing back to 99-100%? I was doing great for a couple of weeks. Now I’m constantly fouling and it appears I’m barely over the line. If I don’t could I’m jumping at 85-90% takeoff.

Seems to me to be the most difficult part of the discipline. One problem is that your athletes foot is sometimes not near to the ground therefore making it harder to judge.

I also have the same issue, finding it difficult to hit the board consistently. Its all a timing issue, for me its a case of practice practice practice. Then practice again.

Thats the only way forward.

Yeah it is just aggravating since I had it down and now it seems to have changed.

It's a bit like in real life, if your steps are a little bit of balance, the athlete must adjust, but I've notested that looks like the foot slides for the jump 😅

Your research can make it a little more consistent, having more success.
