What to do when the team manager is not active at all? There is no possibility to add or remove members without his interaction and if he is unreachable, the only possibility would be to leave / find another team? I tried to message him too, but looks like he has not been doing almost anything since joining.

If there is no assistant to the club manager, then I think there's nothing to do about this problem. Only manager and assistant have options to accept new members or remove old ones. Inactive management most probably leads to inactivity among the club members as well, so I recommend you to find another club with more active management.
